    Teaming up with local businesses both large and small, the Dayton Development Coalition is bringing new jobs to the Region. The DDC has had unprecedented success helping military families make informed decisions as part of the BRAC realignment at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. With these and other efforts in our area, we are beginning to see the positive economic impact.

    In September, along with other state leaders and officials, Governor Ted Strickland officially designated the Dayton Region the Aerospace Hub, the first Ohio Hub of Innovation and Opportunity designation. The Region's rich aviation history—coupled with today’s innovations, growth and research—make our region a perfect match for the Hub. Focusing on sensors and aerospace materials, our Region is making noise nationally and internationally.

    This November, community and business leaders congregated with over 2,000 attendees at the University of Dayton Arena for the Dayton Region Rally. Organized by the Dayton Development Coalition, the upbeat event was designed to bring everyone in the Region together and share a plan for the future, exciting the community and instilling local pride.

    Fayette County, a recent addition to the Dayton Development Coalition's geographical area, is working bring in prospective businesses for the state's first “mega development,” close to the intersection of I-71 and US-35

It is appropriate then, that the Dayton Development Coalition—whose sole purpose is to better the Dayton Region—is supported, sponsored and endorsed by thousands.
